Hello my name is Mariah Ulrich, and I’m a freelance illustrator located in the Portland Oregon area. Waterweasels were original made for a contest on the website Deviant Art back in 2015, and slowly over the past 5 years I have developed them into one of my favorite creations! I got the idea for them after wondering if I could blend a salamander and weasel together… Although the design quickly started evolving beyond that point. Regardless I hope to see more creators become inspired by my unusual creature, and share my love of it!
